Description
The 4th of July use to be one of the most exiting days
of the year. Because of my busy schedule, these past few
years of celebrating hasn't been that great. In hope to
bringing back my old memories, I've decided to make a
collage of one of my most memoriable independence day
celebrations (1998). It was so much fun! We were at a
lake (Lake Latonka) at my hometown (Lawton, OK). While
we were there, we went swimming, hiking, barbecuing, shooting
fireworks, and lots of other activities. Bringing back
this moment was a great feeling.
Sypnosis
For this project, it took me quite a while to find the
right pictures for the background. Since I took so many
pictures of what my friends were doing, I decided to combine
them together into the background scenery of the lake.
The reason why the background is so long is because I
duplicated the background, placed it besides each other,
and fliped one of the background horizontally. The made
it seem as though the background was much longer and didn't
look too unrealistic. For the backgroud, I toned down
the brighness to make it seem like nightfall. I basically
cut out the images of the individuals and placed it on
top of the background. The fireworks graphic was a little
difficult because I had to blend the two backgrounds together.
After cutting and modifing all of my images, I now had
to re-arrange them so it would look appealing. The final
touches were modifying the brighness and contrast to make
the images fit in. And that's it!
